Landscape Pavilion for China’s Garden Expo

Chosen as the winner of an international competition, pavilion landscape Penda for the 10th International Expo Garden in Wuhan, China seeks to highlight the importance of clean water and protect the environment. Nicknamed "where the river flows," the pavilion takes visitors through a landscape of hills and valleys in a way similar to a river. Each visitor receives seeds to plant, assuming "the function of a river as they bring life to the pavilion."

The 1,500 square-meter pavilion is under construction and is expected to be completed this year. Learn more about the project after the break.
